Satisfaction of our customers is at the centre of our work. Our professional work means our customers enjoy wearing their hearing devices and wear them with confidence, thus raising the degree of acceptance among the population. We try to ensure customer satisfaction through the use of unique instruments.
Employees
Our employees represent the basis for the professional fitting of hearing devices and for giving customer satisfaction. We try to create a pleasant working environment through our shops with their up to date equipment, good working conditions and a clear organisational structure. The continuing and further training of our audiologists is a central point of our training efforts.
Customer acquisition (early recognition)
In Germany around 15 million people are affected by hearing problems but only 2.5 million of these receive adequate provision. Because hearing loss develops gradually, many sufferers only become aware of their problem at a later stage. It is, however, important to recognise hearing loss as early as possible as a hearing withdrawal will otherwise develop, which is harder to combat. Inspired by the campaign "Take care of your ears", and the "Hören-Mobil" of the promotional organisation Gutes Hören (FGH), we have started up the Society for Mobile Hearing Advice. With free information and advice we wish to make an active contribution to making public perception of the importance of hearing stronger. The Society for Mobile Hearing Advice travels round Germany with buses and hearing stands for this purpose and comes directly to where people are: to central points in towns and villages, to shopping centres and also to public exhibitions.
Working together with doctors
Amplifon places importance on good cooperation with the doctors as they are important partners in the provision of hearing devices. Audiologists and ear, nose and throat specialists work closely together through the medical clarification of hearing loss as well as the concluding quality assurance of fitting of hearing devices by the doctor. Amplifon supplies valuable support for quality assurance in this area with jointly carried out training events.
