15 million people with hearing impairments live in Germany according to estimates from the German Registered Society for the Hard of Hearing. The lack of provision and common exposure to noise increase this number every day. Inspired by the campaign "Take care of your ears", and the hearing truck of the promotional organisation Gutes Hören (FGH), we have started up the society for mobile hearing advice. With free information and advice we wish to make an active contribution to making public perception of the importance of hearing stronger.

The society for mobile hearing advice travels round Germany with buses and hearing stands for this purpose and comes directly to where people are: to central points in towns and villages, to shopping centres and also to public exhibitions.

Trained audiologists are constantly on site and provide information for prevention and protection of hearing, check the current hearing ability with a free test and clarify the difficulties which can result from a hearing impediment.

All services on the hearing bus and the hearing stands are offered free of charge by the society for mobile hearing advice and are available to all interested persons. The hearing bus is initiated by partner companies and the hearing aid industry.
